These soft shackles are a lightweight alternative to metal karabiners. Although our aluminium karabiners are already some of the lightest available, these amsteel shackles weigh in at just under 5g each - a fraction of metal ones.

Great for use in hammock suspension setup but also perfect for a range of uses that may need a karabiner.

Made with 2.5mm amsteel blue these little shackles are incredibly strong and are suitable for use in suspension for anyone up to 150kg.
